"Dire and poor communication"

i first made contact via 111 at 8pm. I was told to await a call back from a Dr which happened at 11.45pm. The Dr was fromMedocc and told me to attend A&E for an urgent blood test (possible malaria). I attended and was told I should not have come to A&E and needed to go and sit in a queue for Medocc. I did this at about 00.15hrs and still haven’t been seen at 0430hrs! I would have been better off getting a night’s sleep and going to my GP in the morning. A truly dire service which just wears people out rather than help them. Needs more Dra and an improved communication system.
