"Care at A&E"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

Came in with a broken leg. I felt the waiting room was cramped and overcrowded and full of people with highly infectious diseases. Got a stomach bug less than 48 hours later. Great staff, I do not feel the facilities are up to scratch.

Dear footballtn88

I am so sorry to hear you broke your leg, and you were subsequently poorly with a tummy bug.

I was also very sorry to hear our Emergency Department waiting room was crowded. I can share with you that we are reviewing our existing facilities, however, if you would like me to look into your concerns about your visit in more detail please get in touch with me directly coral.brady@ggc.scot.nhs.uk

Thank you for your kind comments in respect of the staff and for sharing your experience with us.

I wish you a speedy recovery

Coral
