"My husband Allan Webb was admitted to A&E on..."

About: Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust

Allan was admitted to A&E by ambulance being transferred from Royal Marsden Sutton to Croydon University Hospital by Ambulance for some reason the Ambulance was diverted.the Dr's & team in A&E only had transfer papers from RMH

Allan was transferred to AMU then Ward A5.the care given to him prior to his death on 29th March 2019 was exceptional every single member if the team in all departments we dealt with have a wonderful caring calm helpful attitude. The ambiance & atmosphere in this hospital is very calming it gave myself son & brother great comfort & confidence in the way we were all treated at all times. Everyone without exception treated us & Allan with respect & care at all times. I cannot thank them all enough for the way Allans dignity was safe guarded as he had Mesothelioma which has only one outcome. I can only thank them all for making my husband's last days comfortable in such difficult circumstances. The support they gave to us at all times exceptional.5 stars are not enough it should be more.
