"Staff helped so much"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as a service user),

I was referred by my GP for a scan and appointment with an ENT physician at Tresliske Hospital, Truro, Cornwall.  The appointment was made quite quickly and I was seen recently.  I was highly nervous of what the outcome of the scan would be.  When I arrived at the ENT Department, a lovely aide named Maria noted my apprehension when she was taking my height and weight and could not have been more sympathetic and encouraging.  She was absolutely lovely.  The sonographer, whose name I cannot recall, was also so pleasant and made the process simple and nonthreatening.  Likewise, the ENT physician I saw was kind, courteous and welcoming.  Luckily, my scan showed no significant problems.  My anxiety prior to care was high, but the staff helped so much to make me comfortable.  I can't thank them enough.
