My husband became ill with AFib driven by an infection. After receiving good advice from Non Emergency Service and going along to Minor Injuries in Arbroath, my husband received first class, prompt, appropriate and compassionate care. All the things you would expect from a highly trained team. That evening he became unwell with fever and racing heart rate. I took him straight to A&E as instructed and he was immediately assessed and a treatment plan commenced. His stay in hospital was short, thankfully, and he was treated with IV antibiotics and a follow up plan was made.
A few weeks later he had another episode where he was developing chest pains. Again, I took him straight up to A&E and he was treated immediately and appropriately.
I am extremely grateful and impressed with the prompt and appropriate care given to him. The staff were fantastic from A&E, admission to Acute Medical Unit and to a prompt discharge after the appropriate blood tests were analysed.
TIP TOP Ninewells. Thank you !
