I am shocked and appalled that I was told by the GP that I should see a private gynaecologist because I wanted to discuss HRT when my blood tests showed I should take HRT. I pay my taxes and hardly ever go to my GP until I get very unwell. I was told that they don’t have time to for such cases and that they make emergency bookings and I should make an appointment with a private gynaecologist as they don’t have time to discuss what is suitable. So, who do I pay my taxes for if I can’t even get some a prescription for HRT. It seems that this system is here to serve those that are hypochondriacs and unemployed. I’m sick of paying my taxes to be told I should go private. I find this unacceptable. If this is the case then I should be able to get to see a private Gynaecologist from my budget from my GP surgery.
