"Straightforward procedure"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

Once I got through the bowel preparation stage the rest of this procedure was straightforward and not as unpleasant as I thought it would’ve been. Every member of staff kept me informed and were so friendly and supportive.  Thanks for the modesty shorts, explaining my report to my husband and also nice cup of tea and sandwiches to finish off with.

Minor detail to improve, information on the appointment letter - don’t wear wired bra, don’t wear any jewellery, bring dressing gown although hospital gown is supplied.
Thank you so much!

Dear Mrs JB,

Thank you for posting your feed back on care opinion, I am glad you had a postive experience.

I also appreciate your feedback in relation to the information on your appointment letter. I have now arranged with our Senior Charge Nurses in Endoscopy to look at the patient information provided to patients in advance of their examination.

Regards Arlene
