(as a relative),

My Granda was recently in Ward 203 for a second corneal transplant.  He has been in this Ward before and knows many of the Nurses.  There is not enough praise that my Granda and our family can give this Ward.  Nothing is too much for anyone.  In his own words "I've been treated like a king".  

He celebrated his birthday while an inpatient and the staff were so kind in ordering a cake for his special day.  

Without exception every member of staff we encountered on the Ward were so kind and caring.  Special mention must go to Student Nurses Rebecca and Katie who I think are going to make fantastic Staff Nurses!  

Ward 203 is one very special ward!!

Thank you very much for the kind comments about Ward 203. I was so pleased to hear about your Granda's care. It is nice when you know some of the nurses in the ward. I was delighted the staff had recognised your Granda's birthday with a cake.
