(as the patient),

During a recent stay (one of five over the past twelve months) I can have nothing but praise and thanks for the staff on ward 105. Not are they only efficient and professional but they are caring, compassionate and above all friendly. I recall that on one particular evening, I had not been long admitted AGAIN, I was feeling extremely low and fed up with life in general, when Donna one of the nurses took the time out from her busy schedule to sit with me and coax me out of the mood I was in. I must admit she had me laughing at myself before she went about her work. I can only whole heartedly thank all the staff on ward 105 who made a somewhat difficult time more bearable.

PS. I was a bit disappointed in the fact we never got eggs and bacon for breakfast 😋

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your feedback regarding your recent experiences in Ward 105. The team strive to deliver a high standard of person centered care and I am very pleased to learn that the team were able to help and support you during a difficult time.

I will ensure that your kind words are shared with the 105 team including Donna, whom I know will be delighted to have received this recognition.

I have asked my colleagues in the Catering Department to respond regarding eggs & bacon for breakfast.
