I came in as a day case NHS. My appointment was for 10.00am but was left in a room for over one hour and a half..It would have been nice to see a nurse / carer to explain the delay. The procedure was good the doctor and staff were excellent .I was then shown into the same small room seated. The nurse took my BP it was 195 over 86 as a nurse myself I was aware that this was extremely high. I wasnt lied down or any thing. The nurse just gave me my discharge papers, told me to see a doctor also I could stay a bit longer if I wanted.I would have thought that this would have this would have been reported to the Doctor before discharge. She had no patient skills at all. Also I thought it wasnt a good idea to keep my clothes on and shoes for an aseptic injection into the coccyx.Previously done at Kendal under better circumstances.
"not very happy"
