I was rushed to Hallamshire hospital after being told I was critically I'll and had TTP it was all new to me,after being in the building trade for 47 years.i had to undergo plasma exchange followed by a course of rituximab.although I was not happy about being cooped up the consultants made arrangements with the staff so that I could go outside for fresh air and a cigar.this all happened a year ago in April,I still have to have regular trips back, but I cannot commend all the staff from top to bottom enough.if you ever fall I'll this is the place you will get sorted with dignity and respect and treat as though you are part of a family.
