Recent need to be admitted to the Western General Hospital (Edinburgh) in March 2019 was made the best that I could have imagined by the excellent staff in the Medical Assessment Unit and ward 42 (infectious Diseases). All nursing staff (including Students) carried out their duties in a highly professional way, were caring, polite, responsive to care needs, and reliable. The attitude and sociability of the staff was natural, pleasant, and positive.
The Consultants who dealt with me were open and explained my situation in an appropriate and enlightening level of detail. They communicated in a very human and friendly manner.
I would like to note that Nurse Carr is an exemplar nurse (from my experience, and in my opinion).
Many thanks to all staff for such a great care experience.
