"Sepsis"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Critical Care Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Respiratory Medicine (Breathing and Lung Problems)

(as the patient),

I was admitted into the intensive care unit early last year with septic shock, I just want to thank all the staff at ARI intensive care unit who looked after me, I don’t remember too much about it but without them I wouldn’t be here today.

I was then looked after in ward 107, I can honestly say that every single member of staff were amazing, Dr Miller and nurses Jen and Calum were great and could not have done more for me.

I am so glad we have amazing people that can do what they do.

Dear Finster, thank you so much for taking the time to write and share your positive feedback.

I am delighted to hear such positive comments about your stay in Intensive Care and in Respiratory Ward 107.

I will make sure to pass on your story to all the team in Intensive Care and in 107. I am sure Dr Miller, Jen and Callum will be very grateful to hear your kind comments and it is lovely for them to have this recognition.

I hope that you are feeling much better and thank you for taking the time to write to us and share your story,

Best wishes, Helen Paddon
