My baby was coming up to 5 months and I was thinking about getting her ready for weaning. I was told about a weaning course that would be running and if I would like to attend. I showed my interest and they put me on a referral ready. Unfortunately due to not enough interest, the course was cancelled. However, Tracey was happy to come out to see me and go through the course at a home visit. This has helped me hugely and has given me confidence and excitement in starting weaning instead of worry.

Thank you for letting us know about the experience you have had. I am glad your local Children's Centre service was able to adapt the programme so you and your baby got the right advice at the right time. Weaning can be a scary time for parents so I am pleased you are now able to enjoy this important milestone with your child.
