"They care I received was exemplary in all ways"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Blake Ward as an emergency on a Sunday and knew I would be having surgery on the Monday.   I was in hospital a total of 5 days and have nothing but praise for all the staff on Blake Ward.   They care I received was exemplary in all ways.   The doctors took their time talking to you, the nurses were always helpful, compassionate and would listen and the food was absolutely delicious.   Having been admitted as an emergency I was anxious, but soon relaxed knowing I was in such good, safe and caring hands.   Thank you to you all.

As Operational Lead for food within the Trust I was delighted to read that the care you received on Blake ward was exemplary. We have always believed that good food empowers recovery and can often lift your spirits during a hospital stay.
