"My first long stay in hospital"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Breathing and lung problems (Respiratory Wards 7a, 7b, 7c & 7d)

(as the patient),

From the moment I arrived on ward 7c earlier this month for my first long stay in hospital I was made to feel welcome and relaxed.

The staff from consultant Mr Sarvesvaran, the nurses on the ward, the other doctors, the support staff, meaning catering, cleaning, students and everyone I came into contact with during my 7 night stay were truly amazing . They made me feel special and were always very up beat about their roles. The ward was spotlessly clean, cleaners worked non stop. Catering was super , great choice and water and tea etc on offer at all times. A Huge Thanks to all involved in my care.

Dear Special One

Thanks very much for your post on Care Opinion.

The staff work hard to make sure the care they provide is of a high standard and meets the needs of our patients. It is fantastic to read about the care you received from all the staff in Ward 7C and that you were made to feel special.

I will share you post with the staff – it is always good when we can let the staff know that their hard work is appreciated

I hope you are feeling better.

Take Care

Nicole
