Firstly, I would like to state that I cannot fault the care and expertise of the whole team at the Peggy Wood clinic in Maidstone..
I am currently in the very difficult process of waiting for my breast biopsy results. As you can imagine, I am highly anxious and fearful.
What I would like to say, is that two days after the biopsy, I received a phonecall from the hospital.
The call, when. It came through, sent me into a panic, fearing that they had found something that urgently needed me to return.
When I answered it, I discovered it was an automated call to ask me to review the care I had received.
May I respectfully suggest, that when blanket phoning patients, that the hospital demonstrates a little sensitivity that the people they are contacting, may be awaiting results that could mean a life threatening condition. Some form of differentiation as to whom you target for reviews, wod be greatly appreciated
