I was a patient at Monklands hospital in Ward 17 - Respiratory
I was admitted with a suspected blood clot on my lung, I was very upset as I have just recently had a baby and at the time of admission my baby Girl was only 2 weeks old.
I was in a lot of pain and the nurses made sure I got the pain killers needed so that I could be comfortable and sleep.
A special mention to Ward Sister Eileen who was incredible and is a credit to the hospital although it was busy she made sure all the staff knew exactly what they were doing.
I would also like to thank the staff Sam, Pauline, Ashley, Laura & Gillian.
From the nurses to the ward cleaners everyone was exceptionally kind and understanding and even though they were so busy and working at 100% everyone of them had time to listen and understand that being admitted to hospital unexpectedly is worrying and they made sure you had the heat care available.
Thank you from me and all my family for being amazing and getting me home.
"Exceptional care"
