Friday I got sent to the children’s ward because the doctor heard a heart murmur on my 7 week old son. Since arriving the team have been lovely and helpful and made us feel comfortable.

The consultant that dealt with scanning my sons heart confirmed he had a hole in his heart with blood in his lungs at this point I was so upset but he reassured me and told me everything I needed to know and what to look out for. Im aware of the things that may or may not be expecting to come which made me feel so much better about the situation. I’m over the moon that the consultant is the person I’ll be seeing weekly/2 weeks as he is a lovely man that I know my son is in good hands of.

I couldn’t be more grateful for all the staff’s hard work that they have done for my son on Friday. But the one id love to thank the most is the consultant for everything you have done and is doing for my little boy appreciate it so much.
