Following a prostate cancer diagnosis last year I received marvellous care at the Western Hospital where I was operated on. All the staff on Ward 42 were lovely, I could not have been looked after better.

More recently I attended the Kircaldy hospital to have a catheter removed. The nurse, Marlene, had excellent communication skills. She made me feel at ease, explained what would happen and how it might feel. She made sure I had a good understanding of the procedure and  that any questions I had were answered. It made me feel a lot more relaxed and reassured.
