After being referred by my optician I visited the eye clinic at Ayr Hospital where I was advised by a consultant that a course of injections to my eye was recommended. I decided against the treatment as I was genuinely afraid at the thought of injections to my eye. It was a year before I was referred again and this time I decided to proceed with a course of injections.
At the appointment for the first of these every member of the nursing team was patient, caring and professional, answering all my questions and concerns and I am so pleased to commend these very special people. The whole procedure was a positive experience and I have no fear about further treatment. Everything was explained in minute detail and the after-care I received was excellent. My thanks to everyone.
