My husband and I arrived at the hospital 15 minutes before my appointment times. The cheerful security staff directed us to the reserved parking space and then directed us to the lift/stairs to get to reception. Ward staff came down to meet us and show us to my room, which was spotlessly clean. Staff then offered us tea or coffee - teapots and cups and saucers! Nursing staff began my treatment, followed by the surgeon. I was then escorted to the theatre where the procedure was carried out and then escorted back to my room. Tea and coffee were offered along with biscuits. Nursing staff then arrived with my medication and I was discharged.
All the staff were polite, friendly and caring and I felt that I was really being looked after.
