"First hospital stay"

I'd never stayed in hospital before and after being told that I was very poorly after what I tried to brush of as chest infection that very nearly became pneumonia my first hospital stay ended up being nearly a week, leaving me struggling to breathe, deep pains in my chest and back and high blood pressure and temperature.

From the paramedics to the AMU staff to short stay I was treated with kindness and compassion. Everything was explained fully and in detail to me and what was going to be likely to happen over my stay, I was very frightened and felt very lonely but at any time day or night all staff did anything and everything to help me. Nothing was to much Trouble whether it was pain relief to a cup of tea, important to me was the level of compassion and empathy the staff had especially in AMU good hope I'd like to especially thank and praise the AMU nurses: seethal, kat, Becky, Emma, and Jess and the care assistants:Julie, Tracey and Louise. 

You helped and support made my staff much easier and I couldn't have been better cared for.
