About: Tameside General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a relative),

Absolutely amazing efficiency from the moment my wife entered a and e with a bad foot infection. Seen within an hour, x rays done and appropriate antibiotics administered.

Later that night admitted into a private room with ensuite facilities. Over the next few days my wife was truly looked after and an operation was carried out on the foot.

Admitted and then home 5 days later. The follow up treatment was exemplary in outpatients. Nothing was too much trouble. Nurses and doctors were on hand without any long waits.

The whole experience was as good as it gets. Thanks to all who treated my wife and made our experience at Tameside General so stress free.
