One Monday evening in February 2019 I had to take my 93 year old mother in to the eye clinic - it was an un-scheduled visit due to extreme pain in her eye and face. She is extremely hard of hearing, and not shy of expressing her opinions.
The two doctors that attended to her carried out their duties both with extreme care and speed, despite the clinic being busy. They dealt with Mum with good grace and humour. Unfortunately I failed to note their names, but the junior doctor was a young man from Glasgow (Mum asked) and the Registrar a young lady with long dark hair. They were the epitome of professionalism, and more importantly of what those employed in caring should be. Mum was most appreciative, and complimentary of her treatment - praise indeed from a retired staff nurse who started training before the NHS existed! Well done ⭐️.
