"Vascular/angioplasty and stents"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Short Stay Surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted to the short stay ward 302 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Feb 2019 to have an Angioplasty and Stents.  From my admittance to the procedure being carried out, the treatment I received was exceptional.

The nurses on the ward were very attentive and caring. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The procedure was carried out by the Consultant Radiologist Paraskuvopoulos. He explained everything so clearly before and during the procedure and I felt re-assured that I was safe in his hands.

Dear whinhill

Thank you very much for your extremely kind comments regarding the Vascular/angioplasty and stents procedure you underwent on ward 302. It is a great morale boost for the staff to hear that the care they are providing is attentive and caring.

It is very encouraging for other patients to be able to read about a positive experience where you had your procedure so well explained and felt reassured.

I will share your comments with Mr Paraskuvopoulos who will be delighted to receive your feedback.

I hope you are recovering well and continue to do so.

Kind regards

Anne Gourlay
