My mum just arrived from another country to stay with me and very suddenly has suffered a major heart stroke.
Whitest we went for a walk my mum collapsed and passers by called for ambulance. The ambulance team recognised straight away as a stroke and has taken her into ambulance and arranged a receiving unit in Royal infirmary, Edinburgh. They were very understanding, compassionate and highly professional. Although it was very unsettling, I knew she is in best possible hands to take care of.
My mum is now in ward 201.
"Best possible hands"
