(as a relative),

I’ve been trying for a minimum of 1 month to book an appointment for an endoscopy procedure.

The telephone booking system always says you are number xx in the queue. I once got to number 6 and was cut off.

Messages left on the answering machine go unanswered.

A shocking service that needs reviewed and overhauled.

Dear Really Fed Up,

I can only apologise, that you have been unable to book an appointment for your procedure, I would like to reassure you that I will investigate why no one has returned your calls.

Can I ask you to contact Yvonne Ross the patient affairs manager at Wishaw so that you can give her your contact details, once you have done this I will get a member of the Endoscopy booking team to contact you to arrange your appointment.
