I was referred for testicular atrophy and pain in the testes.
Bloods were taken and then lost. So my follow up for results was a waste of time as the bloods had to be repeated.
In my return I was told that the results indicated a problem. However the consultant was insistent it was congenital which did not add up as the problem was new and not something I’d had since birth. I was offered a referral to the pain clinic or fertility clinic which I refused. I wanted the cause of the problem addressed and not just the symptom.
I feel I wasn’t listened to or taken seriously. !
I will now have to be referred elsewhere for a second opinion!
