"My treatment was always their first priority"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was taken to Musgrove for blood tests after suffering from stomach pain & stayed for 10 days! I have never experienced NHS care during 67 years & was amazed at my treatment.

There is so much bad press with the NHS etc these days but I couldn't fault the treatment, staff or hospital. I was lucky in being in the Jubilee Wing which had up to date facilities but all the staff were brilliant. All the nurses were individuals with differing attitudes but the end result - my treatment - was always their first priority & I felt totally confident that I was being looked after in the best way possible. I would like to extend my thanks to everyone.
