Attended DAFNE course for type 1 diabetics at the Princess Royal, Huddersfield earlier this month.

Brilliant course. Found it very beneficial. Have gained confidence in controlling my diabetes, and have the skills and confidence to make changes to my personal plan for managing my diabetes. Some refreshing of knowledge (e.g. carbohydrate counting) but was mostly new information. Gained a new perceptive in learning the DAFNE principles for managing diabetes to live a 'normal' life. 

Learned lots just talking to other adults with diabetes and from sharing experiences within the group. 

Would highly recommend to anyone with type 1 diabetes. I look forward to attending the follow-up session to the course.

I am delighted to hear how informative and useful you found the course. As you've said one of the huge positives to come out of them is being able to meet others with type 1 diabetes and share experiences.
