"Poor communication has left me still in pain"

About: University Hospital Of North Tees / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

I attended A& E at north tees with extreme pain in my stomach and lower back. I explained everything to the DR but felt as though they were not listening to me. They said they would do bloods but if there ok I would have to go home. I found this very patronising.

Anyway my bloods were ok but my pain hadn't changed so they said they had booked an ultrasound for the following day and handed me a letter with the time of the appointment and my details. The next day I made my way to the ultrasound department having realised that the location of where I had to be was blank. I got there and they said they had no record of me so someone took me to the surgical decisions unit thankfully they knew I was coming.

I was examined here by a DR and told I would be getting a scan, 2 hours of waiting and they told me that the DR in A& E hadn't booked a scan so I went home and they said they would call me with an appointment time for the following day. The whole situation has been an unorganised mess and through all this I'm still in horrendous amounts of pain
