"Son with multiple conditions"

Absolutely let down. Every step is a fight. Attend numerous appointments to supposedly get him the support he needs. Discharged to an advisory service that seems non existent. Reports are written that have no detail over what was agreed during assessments, so no evidence to get him support in school. When I raised lack of stated support in school, told that I’m unreasonable to expect that level of support although told 3 complete days, I shouldn’t think he should get that much. Now told that he will loose an hour of classroom support to give him support in PE (because he is picked on). Yet his key worker is used as classroom TA, helping the other children. I am told by the school she is available anytime for my son as he has priority, but he says not the case. 

The strain supporting a child with Autism can be immense. With the services supposedly there to help passing you back and forth and no one taking responsibility, it has had a detrimental effect on our health and well-being. Being run into the ground over every suggestion or request by a service that takes exception to you questioning their decisions.
