"My labour journey."

About: Kettering General Hospital

As a very anxious first time mum to be, I was contracting every minute for over a minute. I was not dialating and in a lot of pain. Midwife was completely attentive and understanding to the way I was feeling and I felt like she truly listened to me. My little girl was back to back and after 52 hours of contractions it was decided for me to have an emergency c section. The midwife was due to go home yet stayed longer ensuring that I was ok. I feel like I was really cared for as a patient on the labour ward and although I had a traumatic labour- I look back and feel happy with the way i was cared for.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this feedback. I am delighted that despite your long labour and emergency delivery you felt well cared for throughout. I will share your feedback with the Labour ward Staff.
