"IAPT service laton bush"

About: West Essex Iapt

(as a service user),

Now after contacting them and they asked me whether or not they could contact my GP and I told them No they did anyway . So straight away my view was that they were liars.

And then it just got appalling ,sorry there is no nice way to say this, its seems to be a team that are only there for themselves. I have met many people in the nhs and they do it as they have a passion for working in the nhs (which is great) but it seems the health minds Harlow  don't have. I have first hand experience of them using alias on my patient record and them not having the right people to change this so it is correct.  The Caldicot guardian concerned of both the west Essex ccg and the hpft know about this and think it ok for there staff to us alias but not patients.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments about the West Essex IAPT service.

You might find it helpful if I explain that for Healthy Minds to be able to appropriately treat people it is essential that we know who we are working with. There are a number reasons for this, such as, there may be occasions when we need to liaise with other agencies about the person we are treating. This could be to safeguard the person, refer them to other agencies/services that may be able to offer additional support or to liaise with their GP. Clearly if a person has requested that we do not liaise with their GP we would honour this request unless there were serious concerns about risk. If we breached your request, you can complain to hpft.complaints@nhs.net, which will be investigated and responded to. You would be involved in the investigation and informed of the outcome. With regards to staff having alias's, the staff have to register their name on the BABCP that they practice under and all our staff practice under the name registered. I hope you find this information helpful.
