Severe lack of appointment availability! I have been trying to make an app for my son since very early December 2018 still not got one. By the time the phone line isn't engaged all apps have gone. Asked for a weekend app (son works) I was told they'd all been alllocated to patients from other local surgeries I was then told that if I could come and queue outside the surgery from 8am any weekday to try and get an app ....so who will take my daughter to school?

Also some reception staff are very rude, one blonde haired lady in particular Not a nice lady at all!!!

Overall I would not recommend this surgery

I am sorry to note your comments.

I do not feel that you have a good understanding of the appointment system - 70% of the practice appointments become available on a daily basis. Patients can either telephone at 8.15am or call to reception in person.

The practice is open until 8.00pm Mon-Friday and also Saturday-Sunday 9.00am - 2.00pm for pre-booked appointments, we do act as a hub so other practices can also utilize these appointments.

Please call into reception and collect an appointment explanation leaflet or practice leaflet, alternatively ask the receptionist to explain the appointment system to you in detail.

The late evening and weekend appointments are relatively new but our appointment system has changed very little since 2004.
