My wife and I attended at the Radiology / X-ray department of the Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy. We arrived in plenty of time for my wife's appointment and she used the self service check-in facility which she found quite easy to use. My wife was taken timeously for an ultrasound followed by two steroid injections in her right shoulder area. She was given a local anaesthetic in order to alleviate any symptoms. She found the process was not as bad and painful as she thought it was going to be. She found the staff to be helpful and she did not experience any problems during the hospital visit. The injection appointment was followed by a visit to the RVS canteen where a refreshing cup of tea just did the trick.
The hardest problem during the whole visit was trying to find a suitable car parking space as there are definitely not enough spaces for all the visitors and patients who make use of the hospital facilities. The present car parks are all on one level and I believe that a multi-storey car park is required within the hospital grounds. The only problem is where would you build it and where is the money coming from to build it in the first instance ?
"Good appointment - not enough parking"
