Admitted to this ward for an Ascites drain following a consultation at to Oncology clinic. I hadn't expected to be admitted and was woefully unprepared and a little upset.
Without exception the staff on ward 78 went out of their way to reassure, explain, comfort and provide welcome cups of tea!
The ward is clean and friendly; busy but with a relaxed and calm atmosphere.
My procedure went well and I'm grateful to all on Ward 78 who delivered a 1st class experience on behalf of all the NHS.
It's the experience's that make all the difference at what can be the worst of times. Thank you.
