"Eye appointment"

Sorry I do not have any good points. My appointment was a bit daunting after having to explain that I am hard of hearing with a hearing implant no person{s} made any effort to speak up also I said I lip read however no attempt was made to look at me face to face to allow me to follow conversation. I have no idea of the outcome as no effort was made to let me know. Hopefully I will not have to attend this department again. What would of helped make an improvement is to put a deaf awareness course in place. The care I received was very quick with the consultant having taken only couple of minutes and never did any more tests that my optician does. The help required would of been to ask if I was comfortable on my own or have someone with me to help with communication
