"Blood taking"

I had to go for a blood test last week at NGH blood taking unit and felt quite anxious and nervous. I’ve had blood tests before(never at NGH though) where they can’t find my veins easily and they have taken the blood from a vein in my hands so the whole experience was uncomfortable and painful. 

A lovely lady called Jess in the blood taking unit  took my blood on Friday and I can honestly say she was amazing. She made me feel at ease by talking to me and easily took my blood within a few minutes.  I would like her to know that my fear of blood tests has now gone away and I will be sending a compliment to NGH to let her know. People are quick to complain when something is wrong but not always so quick to compliment and I feel that this lady is a credit to the NHS.
