"Delays"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Oncology

(as the patient),

During my radiotherapy it is a constant issue with the delay of machines when I have to ensure my bladder is full and the delays are not displayed on the screen causing discomfort, delay and frustration. When it comes to reviews they never appear to be on time and when you ask the answer is always they will be with you in five minutes. On a good note the staff are all so friendly and very helpful and understanding thank you to all in the department

Hi Jo,

Thank you for your reply. Since my last review I now understand the difficulties involved with the delays and understand you are not able to predict the state of each patient meaning you may need longer treatment or have a patient who was not able to attend on time so would need to be slotted in. I do appreciate the complexity for each patient and the skill and kindness of ALL the staff and would like to say a Big Thank you to ALL the staff at The Beacon Centre
