About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Trauma and orthopaedics South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as a service user),

Everything about my care during my illness was excellent. From the phone call to 111, the paramedics, ambulance staff, A&E, Trauma 2 ward (where I spent 10 days). All the staff were wonderful and dedicated to doing their jobs. My Family would like to thank them for giving me such wonderful care.

Thank you for your post praising the treatment you received from the ambulance service, the Emergency department and the Trauma Unit. It is reassuring to know that you received excellent care and attention from beginning to end. Unfortunately, nowadays there appears to be a lot of bad press for the health service that people often forget that they also do amazing things day in and day out.

I am particularly pleased with your praise for the Emergency department; we see over 200 patients every day and my team are amazing and as you say, truly dedicated to their jobs.

I am glad that your treatment on Trauma 2 was equally as good, and hope that you have made a good recovery.
