"Unable to make contact"

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute) / Ophthalmology

(as a service user),

I have tried multiple times over the last several days to ring the Hospital on the Direct line to the Ophthalmology Dept and Main switchboard and all I get is :-

Sorry, the line is busy please try later!     

No chance to even have to wait! How on earth can I contact the Department that I require to speak to?
