"Ward 14"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / General Medicine (Wards 3, 4, 5 &46)

(as a relative),

My dad was visiting a friend in the ward. He accidentally left his walking stick behind. It was a hand carved ornate stick that hand been handed down from my grandfather.

He immediately phoned the ward from his car and a bank nurse said that they had it and would leave it in the sisters office.

Despite several phone calls and visits the walking stick has never been located. This is of great disappointment to our family as ghe walking stick has great sentimental value.

Dear H Murray

Thank you for your post.

I am sorry to hear that your Dad lost his walking stick in November and I understand how sentimental this is to your family.

I have checked with the ward and the Cashier’s Office (where any lost property is sent to) and we are very sorry but we been unable to locate the walking stick. A notice was also put up on the ward asking the staff to look out for this. I appreciate that your Dad will be extremely disappointed and I apologise for this.

Kind Regards

Nicole
