"An emergency attendance in the middle of Saturday night"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

My 14 month old daughter was taken unwell over a couple of days of our holiday in Newquay. She gradually worsened until we drove her to the Hospital at 310am.

I was dropped at what I now know to be the wrong entrance while my wife parked tne car. I walked through a deserted corridor before being kindly assisted by a Porter (I didn't catch his name) who escorted first me and later my wife to the right place.

We were worried but were seen quickly and put at ease by the nurse Lily and the attending doctor. My daughter was treated well and is hopefully soon to be fully recovered.

I would like to pass on our thanks for helping us in the small hours of the morning.
