I highly recommend CUH to everyone who needs care, not because I work here but for the fact that I personally witness how the Consultant- both surgeons and Anaesthetist and all the staff at DSU involved have  looked after my son who had a knee surgery recently, with so much care and compassion. As a mom, I felt so relieved and grateful that my son was treated here.

I am so proud to be part of this hospital and I will forever be grateful for that.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience of the Day Surgery Unit, not from a member of staff's perspective, but as a mom. I hope your son recovers well from his surgery.

However when we experience care from our colleagues first hand, it gives us the opportunity to reflect upon what we also do in our own roles. It gives us the insight into what its like to be a patient, and how to receive kindness and compassion really makes a difference.
