Very dissapointed with the way is dealt with my husband’s problem.
He need a haemorrhoids surgery( he first saw the doctor at Orsett Hopsital, a brilliat doctor , who decided to do all the assesments asap and get him ready for operation this year). He got 3rd grade haemorthoids, with constant bleeding( he even had severe anemia due to so much bleeding).
On 18 December he had the Pre Operation assesment and to be booked for operation, but the Consultant decided that it got some additonal questions for the GP, so all got delayed.
We came back to the GP, took back to the hospital the confirmation from Gp that ge can have the surgery( even GP said he does not understand why all this). Already a week since i keep calling the hopsital to see if there are any updates, left voice message to call me back and nothing.
I am very dissapointed, he needs the surgery , as this problem afects his daily activities, and on top of that the bleeding can cause him again severe anemia.
For some reason, he’s case is with another Doctor ( under Colorectal department) and maybe is one of the reasons seems like there is no rush. The doctor was brilliat, but seems like the people organizing this and the pre-operation assesment consultants, don’t hurry at all.
