"Family Nurse's help and guidance"

About: Glasgow Community Services / Family Nurse Partnership

(as the patient),

When i fell pregnant it was the most scared i have ever felt in my life. My world was turned upside down, how was i going to cope. Then i got involved with the Family Nurse Partnership and my life was turned around. Along with the nurses help i gained the confidence and got more prepared for my baby boy’s arrival.

After he was born i had very bad post natal depression and thought i would never get over it. After opening up to my nurse and being assured it was ok to ask for help, slowly but surely i managed to get myself together for my boy and improved both of our lifes

Now he is 2 years old and he is the happiest boy in the world, without the nurses help and guidence both myself of him wouldnt be the same people we are today.

Dear Macey

Many thanks for taking the time to give feedback on Care Opinion about your experience of Family Nurse Partnership and your nurse Lynsey.

It is wonderful to hear how you and your child have flourished and how Lynsey helped support you through a difficult time.

It is heartening to hear how well you have done and although FNP was there to walk alongside you – you did it all yourself!

Well done and we wish you and your boy all the best for the future

If you need to contact me about this, or anything else, my number is 0141 207 7448

Thanks

Anne
