I attended the Day surgery unit for a procedure for pain control.
I found when the nurse was admitting me there wasn't any privacy and in my opinion patient confidentiality was terrible.
I knew everyones personal information as well as their observations. I found it very uncomfortable sharing my personal details with another 20 people!
It was also a very long wait from 8am without any magazines or television. (a tv would have given some backround noice to block out nurses conversation with patients)
The staff were very nice but I think the confidential issue is terrible.
