My very poorly brother spent ages on the phone being told to ring this number and that number and yet another number in an attempt to book an ambulance. He was questioned at length about his appointment etc but finally an ambulance was booked.
He was told to be ready at least 2 hours before hand which he duly was. NO AMBULANCE ARRIVED!! No one bothered to contact him. No explanation. He therefore missed a VERY important meeting with his Consultant which will now have to be rearranged and the process of trying to book an ambulance will have to start all over again!
He felt absolutely stressed to the max.
"Ambulance did not turn up for my poorly brother. Consultant Appointment missed."
